Where It All Began

Chloe’s Gelato (previously known as negative12degrees) started from my kitchen, born out of necessity, curiosity, and a mother’s love. It all began when my third son developed severe eczema as a baby. Watching him struggle, I became more aware of how food affects our health. This led me to experiment with ingredients in my own kitchen, searching for alternatives that were kinder to the body yet still indulgent.

One day, I gifted myself an ice cream maker—just for fun. Little did I know, that simple present would spark the beginnings of Chloe’s Gelato. It became a way to combine my love for experimenting with my drive to create desserts that everyone could enjoy.

Why Plant-Based?

For 15 years, I stood behind a pharmacy counter, dispensing medications to people who needed them. But I’ve always believed prevention is better than cure. Food plays such a big role in health, and I wanted to do more to help people make conscious, nourishing choices.

Our gelato is more than just a treat—it’s designed with care:
